Your Belfast City Sightseeing hop on/ hop off tour can be used any time and is valid for 48 hours. This tour provides you with a comprehensive look at our very special city and allows you to explore every area and district of this unique place.


Visitor’s boarding the HMS Caroline will discover a range of historic spaces including the Captain’s Cabin, Royal Marines Mess and Seaman’s Wash, as well as the very important engine room, sick bay and galley kitchen. Visitors will explore the importance of the battle of Jutland and discover what life at sea was like for over three hundred crew who served on board Caroline during 1916.


HMS Caroline’s virtual access suite is a comfortable, contemporary space where all visitors can explore the ship. A variety of virtual techniques are available for visitors to access hard to reach areas of the ship, such as remote cameras and augmented reality interactives as well as multi-sensory, tactile models and displays.

  • You will receive a voucher for entrance onto the HMS Caroline
  • This voucher must be printed as HMS Caroline will not admit without a printed voucher
  • For the Belfast City Sightseeing tour simply show your HMS Caroline voucher and your 48 hour hop on / hop off ticket will be issued
  • City Sightseeing will not retain your printed voucher
  • Please note that LAST ENTRY onto HMS Caroline with this combo ticket is 5:00pm – arrival later than this will mean entry will be refused. No refund will be provided in this instance
  • You can join the tour at HMS Caroline if you want to park your car there – you can join any Belfast City Sightseeing tour at the HMS Caroline. Buses pass every 30 minutes from 10:07am

  • Tours operate every 30-60 minutes:
    Monday - Saturday: 10:00am - 4:30pm and Sunday: 10:00am - 4:30pm

If you decide to get off at any of our designated bus stops there can be times where you will need to walk to specific events and attractions. Please come dressed appropriately for the season but keep in mind, the weather in Belfast can be cold at any time of the year.

Belfast City Sightseeing Tour

  • Tickets are valid for up to 1 year after purchase
  • Tickets are active for 48 hours after first use
  • For cancellation up to 72 hours prior to departure date: 10% administration fee will be imposed
  • For cancellation less than 72 hours prior to departure date or 'no-show': 100% of the total amount will be charged
  • Tickets for events or attractions are non-refundable
  • Airport, limousine and coach transfer services are non-refundable
  • The Belfast City Sightseeing tour can be joined on any day and at any time
  • You must bring a print out of your boarding ticket/voucher for the city tour
  • Concessions for students (with student ID) and seniors over 60 (with ID)
