The Belfast City Sightseeing Hop-on / Hop-off Open-top bus tour provides you with a comprehensive look at Belfast city and allows you to explore every area and district of this unique place. Our tour operates seven days per week. If you do not Hop-on / Hop-off the tour lasts approx 1 hour 10 minutes.

The Belfast City Sightseeing tour is the ONLY open top tour in Belfast which is 4* rated by the NITB (Northern Ireland Tourist Board) and is the ONLY World Host accredited tour for excellence in customer service.

Tours depart from Donegall Square West, beside Belfast City Hall but you can join the tour from any stop along the route. We are the only operator to offer a multi-lingual service available in six languages including, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Mandarin.

  • Winter Frequency: 30 minute service between 10am - 4:00pm

If you decide to get off at any of our designated bus stops there can be times where you will need to walk to specific events and attractions. Please come dressed appropriately for the season but keep in mind, the weather in Belfast can be cold at any time of the year.

Cancellation policy

  • 20% admin fee will be imposed on cancelled tickets.
  • Anything cancelled within 12 hours will not be refunded.
  • Cancellation of some attractions may not be accepted. These are set forth by the attractions themselves and not City Sightseeing Belfast.
  • The Belfast City Sightseeing departure point has moved to Donegall Square West (Beside the City Hall) and the last stop (19) has moved to Clifton Street.
  • The Belfast City Sightseeing tour can be joined on any day and at any time
  • You can present the voucher either through print out or on your device (i.e mobile, tablet)
  • Your voucher will be exchanged for a paper ticket
  • Children under 5 years of age travel free
  • Please note we operate closed top buses throughout the each for your comfort
  • Our city tours are dog friendly so bring your pet along for the tour! If you suffer from allergies, please inform us of this and we will cater to your needs.
  • Lost tickets will not be replaced or refunded
  • Citysightseeing tickets are also valid on City Tours Belfast
