Seamus Heaney Homeplace

Developed by Mid Ulster District Council, Seamus Heaney HomePlace is a purpose-built arts and literary centre, which celebrates the life and work of the late poet and Nobel Laureate, Seamus Heaney, and contributes to his legacy.

Not only is this a great day out for adults but there is plenty to do for the kids while you soak up some of Seamus Heany’s world-renowned poetry & literature. Kids can learn as they play in the excellent Creative Zone, taking part in arts & crafts to create their very own masterpiece! There is also a Sensory Garden which is perfect for kids with special needs.
